Be The Match and National Marrow Donor Program
The National Marrow Donor Program(NMDP) is dedicated to helping patients who need a cord blood or marrow transplant. We operate the Be The Match Registry,SM the largest and most racially ethnically diverse registry of its kind in the world. Every day, we work to connect patients, doctors, donors and researchers to the resources they need, so people of every racial and ethnic background can live longer, healthier lives. The NMDP became a Mocha Moms partner in 2006 to raise awareness among women of color about public cord blood donation and to increase the number of African American cord blood units on the Be The Match Registry.
